About Summer Camp
Camp Crooked Creek is located with the Harry S. Frazier Jr., Scout Reservation and is one of the PREMIER Scout camps in the region.
The camp features 1,000 acres of rolling hills covered with a hardwood forest of oak, hickory and beech trees along with the 70-acre John Barr lake and over ten miles of hiking
We’re continually surveying Troops for what they want in a summer camp and have come up with programming that, we feel, meets the needs of both younger and older Scouts. Here are just a few of the options Scouts have:
Archery
ATV
Basketry
Blacksmithing
Canoeing
C.O.P.E. (High Ropes Course)

DIETARY NEEDS
Wednesday Homesick Box
There was a tradition started three years ago for parents to purchase snacks, candies, and jerky for the adults, lol. Maybe a quick note for your scout. We give these out to scouts on Wednesday night after the in camp meal. This takes care of being homesick.
Please drop them off with Jennifer or Mary by the June 3rd meeting.
MAIL CALL
Scouts LOVE to receive mail and packages from home. Please send packages in enough time for them to arrive during the week (it is OK to send them the week before and the camp will hold them). Mail can take 4 to 5 days to arrive so please plan accordingly. Any mail received after the troop has checked out will be returned to the sender.
